Marquis Offers Chance to Win Personal Project Parking

30 July 2012: Marquis Broadcast, specialist in content workflows and media integration software, has today announced a free prize draw to win a copy of its new solution, Personal Project Parking, aimed at editors or small facilities looking to archive standalone Avid projects and media.  Entrants simply need to visit the Marquis website and answer three 'tick box' questions about the edit system/storage they are using in order to be entered into the prize draw for a chance to win one of five copies of Personal Project Parking that Marquis is giving away to mark the new product's launch.

"Personal Project Parking has been introduced following demand from editors and small facilities," explains Chris Steele, product manager, Marquis Broadcast.  "The solution is based on Project Parking, our full archive and restore solution, which allows facilities to create a complete copy of any Avid project onto any storage device.  Personal Project Parking includes the basic functionality of the full solution at an entry level price point."

"Personal Project Parking now allows individual editors to archive Avid projects, offering the flexibility for small facilities and freelancers to work off-site and at the same time keep track of their media effectively.  Both the Full and Personal editions of Project Parking include a 'merge project feature' which analyses bins, restores new media and puts changed bins, into a sub-folder with the name of the version.  This means old or new versions can be restored so bins and sequences can be compared easily.

To enter the free prize draw to win a copy of Personal Project Parking please go to: http://www.marquisbroadcast.com/Personal-Project-Parking/competition.html
A free trial of Personal Project Parking is available at: http://www.marquisbroadcast.com/personal-project-parking.html  or for further information see: www.marquisbroadcast.com .
