It's official that Goolge Reader will close up its shop on July 1, 2013. It's an amazing web based program developed by Google using which users are able to subscribe news feed from their favorite sites. And the main reason behind shutting this web based program is less use of Google Reader by users.
But that doesn't mean that you're not able to subscribe feeds from favorite site anymore. As Feedly promised to make easy migration from Google Reader which is going to shut soon.
